The game is nationally televised on ABC. OU is making its 12 appearance in the title game since 2000 and ISU is in its first championship game.

    Chris Beard earned his 100th win as Texas Tech's head coach with a 77-57 non-conference win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday at the Comerica Center. Terrence Shannon, Jr. led the team with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Micah Peavy and Marcus Santos-Silva added 12 points each for the Red Raiders who had only four turnovers and forced 20.

    Kansas got out to a hot start and never looked back taking down Omaha 95-50, in front of 2,500 fans inside of Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas, on Friday. The win extends Kansas’ win streak to 12-0 inside of Allen Fieldhouse.

  • Oklahoma State Cowboys Hit the Road for a Test Against the Wichita State Shockers

    Oklahoma State freshman Cade Cunningham kicked into another gear on Tuesday night. The Cowboy star scored a season-high 29 points, including OSU's last 12 points in the game's final 1:31, to seal a victory over a pesky Oral Roberts squad and improve OSU to 5-0 on the year. Now, Oklahoma State will take the 125-mile trip to Wichita, Kansas to battle the Shockers in what has turned into an exciting regional hoops rivalry.

    Kickoff for No. 20 Texas Football's road matchup at Kansas on Saturday will now be 3 p.m. CT, the Big 12 Conference announced Wednesday. The game will air on ESPN2 from David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

  • Big 12 Spreads the Wealth Around for Football Awards Following Week 13

    Student-athletes from Iowa State, Oklahoma State and Texas collected accolades for their performances in Week 13.
     
    Iowa State’s Brock Purdy was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, while Oklahoma State’s Amen Ogbongbemiga earned Defensive Player of the Week. A pair of Longhorns picked up awards, as D’Shawn Jamison earned Special Teams Player of the Week and Bijan Robinson Newcomer of the Week.

  • No. 17 Texas Longhorns Men's Basketball Falls to the No. 12 Villanova Wildcats

    Justin Moore and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl both registered 19 points to lead No. 12/3 Villanova (4-1) to a hard-fought 68-64 victory against No. 17/22 Texas (4-1) on Sunday afternoon at the Frank Erwin Center. The primary difference in the game came at the free throw line, where the Wildcats converted 14-of-19 and Texas hit 3-of-6 attempts.

  • Kansas State Wildcats Football Falls to the Texas Longhorns on Senior Day, 69-31

    K-State honored 21 seniors on Saturday afternoon, a group that has led the Wildcats to more than a few memorable wins in Manhattan. 
     
    Senior Day was not one of them, as K-State (4-6, 4-5 Big 12) fell 69-31 to Texas (6-3, 5-3 Big 12) in its regular season finale at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

  • Iowa State's Purdy Named a Finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award

    Iowa State junior quarterback Brock Purdy was named one of 10 semifinalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, announced today by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation.  

    The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award is given annually to the nation's best upperclassman quarterback.

  • K-State Track and Field Launches Season with Back-to-Back Home Meets

    The Kansas State men's and women's track and field teams will get to compete for the first time in over eight months with two home meets this weekend in Ahearn Field House, as the Carol Robinson Winter Pentathlon will take off first on Friday, December 4 and then the K-State Winter Invitational will follow suit on Saturday, December 5.

  • WVU and TCU Players Earn First 2020-21 Weekly Big 12 MBB Honors

    Derek Culver (West Virginia) and Mike Miles (TCU) picked up the season opening Big 12 men’s basketball weekly awards as Culver earned his first career player of the week while Miles collected newcomer of the week.
