After postponing their road game at Colorado due to Covid concerns, the Cougs stay home for the Battle of the Palouse as WSU hosts Idaho Wednesday at Beasley. It is part of what will be a 10-game homestand to begin the season after postponing their lone road trip of the 2020 calendar year. The Cougs beat Idaho on the road last season.

Junior guard DeVante' Jones scored a game-high 19 points and made six key free throws in the final minute to lift Coastal Carolina to a hard-fought 78-71 win over North Carolina Central Monday night at the HTC Center. The win gets the Chanticleers off to a 3-0 start for the new season while NCCU slipped to 1-2.

Justin Moore and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl both registered 19 points to lead No. 12/3 Villanova (4-1) to a hard-fought 68-64 victory against No. 17/22 Texas (4-1) on Sunday afternoon at the Frank Erwin Center. The primary difference in the game came at the free throw line, where the Wildcats converted 14-of-19 and Texas hit 3-of-6 attempts.
