The No. 6 Fighting Illini jumped out to a 17-4 lead on No. 10 Duke and never looked back, beating the Blue Devils, 83-68, on Tuesday night as the marquee matchup in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
It was a balanced attack by the Illini with six players scoring in double figures, led by Ayo Dosunmu's 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field. He also pulled down 12 rebounds in the win.

The University of Dayton men's basketball team (2-1) defeated Northern Kentucky (2-2) Tuesday night at UD Arena by a score of 66-60.
Redshirt senior Ibi Watson led the Flyers with 19 points, the third consecutive game he's led UD in scoring. Redshirt junior Chase Johnson registered his first career double-double with 16 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. Senior Jalen Crutcher also scored in double figures with 17 points, including two clutch free throws in the final seconds, and added a game-high eight assists, to go along with six rebounds.

After postponing their road game at Colorado due to Covid concerns, the Cougs stay home for the Battle of the Palouse as WSU hosts Idaho Wednesday at Beasley. It is part of what will be a 10-game homestand to begin the season after postponing their lone road trip of the 2020 calendar year. The Cougs beat Idaho on the road last season.
