Anthony Cook forced a fumble with Iowa State driving at the Texas 28-yard line to preserve a 24-21 victory on Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

Bijan Robinson recorded his fifth straight 100-yard rushing game and 14th of his career with 135 yards. 

Quinn Ewers completed 17-of-26 passes for 172 yards and three touchdowns. 

KEY STATISTICS
• After stopping Iowa State on and three and out on their first drive of the game, Keilan Robinson blocked the Cyclones punt.
• Iowa State took a 7-0 and was driving in the red zone when Jaylan Ford picked it off in the end zone to put a halt to the drive.
• Texas drove 80 yards on nine plays and tied the game on a strike from Quinn Ewers to Xavier Worthy for a 15-yard touchdown pass.
• The Longhorn struck again with 13 seconds left in the half with a five-yard touchdown pass from Ewers to Jordan Whittington. Bijan Robinson had a 25-yard rush and a 26-yard catch on the nine-play 80-yard drive to put Texas up 14-7.
• Bert Auburn started the scoring for Texas in the second half with a 31-yard field goal to put Texas up 17-7.
• Iowa State scored back-to-back touchdowns to take a 21-17 lead with 10:58 to play in the fourth quarter.
• On fourth and three yards to go at the Iowa State three-yard line Quinn Ewers converted a touchdown pass to Xavier Worthy to put Texas up 24-21. 59 of the 75 yards on the drive were gained on the ground, included three straight rushes of over 10 yards.
• With Iowa State driving deep into Texas territory Anthony Cook forced a fumble at the Texas 28-yard line and the Longhorns recovered to take over possession.
