The FIU football team will kick off a new era under head coach Mike MacIntyre on Thursday, Sept. 1 vs. Bryant University at FIU Football Stadium, one of the six home games included in the revised 2022 season schedule.
The Panthers will also host UConn in non-conference play on Saturday, Oct. 8, prior to opening the home portion of the Conference USA schedule on Saturday, Oct. 15 vs. UTSA.
In-state rival Florida Atlantic will head to Miami on Saturday, Nov. 12, with FIU will also hosting Louisiana Tech (Oct. 29) and Middle Tennessee State (Nov. 26) in Conference USA action.
Non-conference road contests for the Panthers include a trip to Texas State to battle the Bobcats on Friday, Sept. 9 and a meeting at New Mexico State on Oct. 1 in Las Cruces, N.M.
The Panthers will also open the Conference USA slate on the road at Western Kentucky on Saturday, Sept. 24. Other C-USA road matchups include trips to Charlotte (Oct. 22), North Texas (Nov. 5) and UTEP (Nov. 19).
FIU will officially kick off the 2022 campaign at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 9 with the FIU Football Spring Showcase.
