The Wake Forest men's basketball program and head coach Steve Forbes have announced the addition of Marqus Mitrovic Marion to the squad beginning in the fall of 2023.
"Marqus is laser focused and extremely driven to be a successful player and person," said Forbes. "He has competed at a high level in his home country and internationally against older players for many years. Marqus possesses tremendous skill, and he is explosive off two feet around the basket. His parents have done an incredible job coaching and raising their son, preparing him to be an outstanding student-athlete at Wake Forest."

- Earned the Silver medal with the Danish U18 team at the 2022 European Championship
- Was named to the All-Tournament Team
- Earned the Silver medal with the U18 team at the 2022 Nordic Championship
- Was named to the All-Tournament Team
- Made his debut on the Danish Men's National Team in a European Championship qualifier in February 2023
- Averaging 15.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.3 assists per game with BMS Herlev this season
- Shooting 57.6 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from three-point range
- Joins Aaron Clark and Parker Friedrichsen in the 2023 recruiting class
