NC State men's soccer forward Luke Hille has been named to the 2022 ACC Men's Soccer Preseason Watch List, as announced by the league office.
The Wolfpack sophomore led the Wolfpack in scoring during this rookie campaign, totaling 13 points in 2021. Hille netted six goals, three of which were game winners, and an assist last season despite playing in just eight matches.
A native of Cary, N.C., Hille found the back of the net in his NC State debut on Aug. 26, 2021 and secured a brace in the team's next game. He also put together a three-point game later in the season with a goal and an assist at Longwood. Hille's final score of the 2021 season was a golden goal in the 108th minute of the Pack's Senior Night win against Boston College.
In total, 14 of Hille's 22 shots as a freshman last season were on target, and he scored two goals in ACC play.
NC State is set for one final preseason exhibition at Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Aug. 20 before it officially opens the 2022 regular season at home against Loyola Maryland on Friday, Aug. 26.
