The Providence College men's hockey program announced its full 2024-25 regular season schedule. The Friars are set to pay 35 regular season games, including 11 match-ups against teams that participated in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
The previously announced non-conference slate features the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game at North Dakota (Oct. 12), a two-game home series against Arizona State (Oct. 18-19) and home games against LIU (Nov. 23) and Colorado College (Dec. 6-7). The annual Mayor's Cup will take place at Brown on Jan. 7. The Friars will compete in two holiday tournaments – Nov. 29-30 at the Adirondack Winter Invitational in Lake Placid, N.Y. (St. Lawrence, Clarkson, UMass Lowell) and the Ledyard Classic in Hanover, N.H. (Alaska Anchorage, Northeastern, Dartmouth) from Dec. 28-29.
The Hockey East docket includes three match-ups against Northeastern (Nov. 8-9, Mar. 8), Boston College (Nov. 19, Jan. 17-18), UMass Lowell (Jan. 24-25, Feb. 22) and Boston University (Feb. 14-15, Mar. 6). The remaining Hockey East contests include: at Vermont (Oct. 25-26), New Hampshire (Nov. 1-2), UMass (Nov. 14 & 16), UConn (Jan. 31-Feb. 1), home against Maine (Feb. 7-8) and Merrimack (Feb. 28-Mar. 1).
