Captain Tarek Baker netted the equalizing goal for the Badgers at 16:28 in the third. Defenseman Daniel Laatch passed to Ryder Donovan down low in the corner who shot the puck on goal, where Baker picked up the loose puck and finished for the tie.
The Badgers and Clarkson headed to overtime tied 1-1 where Baker skated end-to-end during 3-on-3 overtime but fell victim to an unlucky bounce at the goalmouth. Ultimately, neither team was able to convert during the five minute period.
