Combine and bring to a boil (just enough to dissolve sugar and salt crystals)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup white vinegar
6 TBL's sugar
1/2 TSP kosher salt
Clean jar. Old pickle jars work great.
Let cool and pour over onions (or other veggies, meats, eggs, etc). Best to let chill overnight but it's ready in 30 minutes if you like lukewarm pickled stuff. I prefer cold. Double or triple the recipe for larger amounts. You're welcome.
