MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Mumu Bin-Wahad is the second defensive back to commit to WVU’s recruiting Class of 2022. Bin-Wahad made the announcement on social media Wednesday evening. Bin-Wahad is a 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia. Grayson went 14-0 and claimed the Georgia Class 7A state championship last fall.

Bin-Wahad collected 24 tackles (3 for loss) in 2020. He also reeled in 3 interceptions and defended 8 passes.In March, Bin-Wahad released his top ten schools list that included Arizona State, Georgia State, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Penn State, South Carolina, TCU, UCF and WVU. He also holds scholarship offers from Akron, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Boston College, Buffalo, Connecticut, FAU, FIU, Kansas, Kent State, Liberty, Louisville, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Minnesota, Nevada, Syracuse, UAB, Virginia, Wake Forest.Bin-Wahad received his offer from WVU on January 20.

He previously committed to Cincinnati.Tyrin Woodby was the first defensive back to commit to WVU in this class. The corner from St. Frances Academy in Maryland committed to the Mountaineers in April.

This seems like a really good pickup, man. I think he's only 3* (can't remember), but the dude was a contributor on an undefeated team in a state that takes football seriously. Nice little offer list, too.
