Due to an increase in positive COVID-19 tests among its student-athletes, coaches and staff following Mizzou Football's final regular-season game, the football program is pausing all team activities through January 2, and will be unable to participate in Wednesday's TransPerfect Music City Bowl against the University of Iowa, Director of Athletics Jim Sterk announced.

Utes running back Ty Jordan has died, the University of Utah confirmed on Saturday. Jordan had just recently been named Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year after a breakout campaign that saw him average 119.4 rushing yards per game and 7.2 rushing yards per carry.

Kevin Marks, Jr. scored on a 2-yard touchdown run with just over one minute to play and the defense withstood a late rally to lift the University at Buffalo football team to a 17-10 win over Marshall in the 2020 Camellia Bowl on Friday afternoon in Montgomery, AL. It was the second straight year the Bulls were victorious in a bowl game.

Former conference rivals will clash on Christmas Day as the Buffalo Bulls and Marshall Thundering Herd meet in the 2020 Camellia Bowl. While Marshall now calls Conference USA home, the Herd once thundered through the MAC - after transitioning from Division I-AA (FCS) in 1997.
