Coming off of a bye week, the Wolfpack will be in road ACC action for the first time this season, heading up to Boston College for a Saturday night contest.

The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. from Chestnut Hill, and will be televised on the ACC Network.

"With Boston College, they're a 4-1 team that they play really hard," said NC State head coach Dave Doeren. "They're a very good statistical defense. When you watch them, they're fundamentally sound. They are very aggressive and didn't allow people to get behind them.

"Offensively, they're a physical unit. They're what you would think when you see BC."

Both teams will be coming off of their bye week, and for NC State that was a perfect break int the season after the 4-1 start.

"(The) bye week did come at a good time," said Doeren. "I thought we played two very physical, emotional games in a row. Guys were ready for a little break after a hot fall camp here."

The rest was need as the Pack will be in road action four of the next five contests – all ACC games.

After playing three straight games at Carter-Finley Stadium, and four of the first five to open the season, NC State will now face back-to-back road games at Boston College and then at Miami.

A return to Raleigh to host Louisville on Oct. 30 is followed with back-to-back road games at Florida State and Wake Forest.

In all, the Pack will play just one home game in a span of 47 days.

"We start a tough stretch for us schedule-wise, to have four out of the next five on the road," said Doeren. "Playing at night, getting home at 4:00 in the morning like we're going to on these night games, we're gonna have to be really diligent with our time here and be smart as players and coaches and make sure that we rest when we can rest and recover."

A pair of Wolfpack players are on the verge or rewriting a pair of NC State career records.

With two catches, WR Emeka Emezie will pass Jaylen Samuels (2014-17) as the school's all-time leader in receptions. With eight more points, PK Christopher Dunn will surpass Niklas Sade (2011-14) as the school's all-time leader in career points.

"I think that's a tribute to their work ethic, their consistency," said Doeren." I'm really excited for them and any player you know that has that type of career. I think that's says a lot about, not just their ability, but their dependability to be able to do that over time."
