NC State quarterback Devin Leary was named the Walter Camp FBS Offensive Player of the Week after helping the Pack to a 27-21 2OT home win over #9 Clemson.
Leary completed 32-of-44 passes for 238 yards with no interceptions. He tied his career-high with four touchdown passes (Pitt in 2020), and all four of the Pack's scores came via Leary's arm.
In the two overtime periods Leary completed 3-of-4 passes for 27 yards and two TD passes. He found Thayer Thomas from two yards out on third down to answer Clemson's score in the first OT, and his 22-yard corner strike to WR Devin Carter in the second OT proved to be the game-winner.
