Wolfpack quarterback Devin Leary has been named to the preseason watch list for the 2021 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

Presented annually to the nation's top upperclassman quarterback by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation, the award "goes beyond completion percentage and touchdown strikes. The award values character, citizenship, integrity and those who honor the game."

Leary appeared in just four games last season after suffering a broken foot, but still managed to post a .600 completion mark, which ranks 14th in school history. He also posted the third-best passing efficiency mark for a single season ever by a Wolfpack signal caller.

The 2021 award winner will be presented the Golden Arm Award trophy by The Johnny Unitas Educational Foundation President, John Unitas, Jr., at the Golden Arm Award banquet and celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, MD on Friday, December 10, 2021.
