Texas State took advantage of several Troy miscues on Thursday night and converted them all into points, as the Bobcats defeated the Trojans, 38-17, in Sun Belt Conference action at The Vet to snap a 12-game losing streak to Troy.

The Trojan defense, however, forced three turnovers with interceptions by Jordan Stringer and LJ Green and a fumble recovery by Trent Henry.
The final interception of the night came as Texas State head coach GJ Kinne dialed up a passing play with 29 seconds remaining in the game, up by 21 points. Green picked off McCloud in the end zone, and the Trojans were the ones who took a knee to run out the clock.
