Temple travels to East Hartford, Connecticut, to take on the UConn Huskies on Saturday, October 5. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. and will air on CBS Sports Network.

LAST WEEK
The Owls fell to Army last Thursday, 42-14. Black Knights QB Bryson Daily led the way, rushing for 152 yards and scoring three touchdowns on the ground. RB Kanye Udoh contributed for 128 of Army's 417 rushing yards and added a rushing touchdown as well.

Temple QB Evan Simon threw for 224 yards and two passing touchdowns, one of which went to true freshman TE Daniel Evert on a 54-yard catch and run for Evert's second touchdown in as many weeks. WR Dante Wright contributed eight receptions for 98 yards. With 450 receiving yards this season, the graduate student is just 57 yards shy of matching his total from a season ago.

Defensively, LB Tyquan King led the Owls with 14 total tackles, including nine solo. LB D.J. Woodbury added 10 total tackles and leads Temple in total tackles this season with 48.

LAST TIME VS. UCONN
Temple last played UConn on November 30, 2019, at Lincoln Financial Field. The Owls won 49-14, with WR Branden Mack having a career day, racking up 171 receiving yards and two touchdowns. LB Sam Franklin recorded a pick-six that put the game firmly out of reach in the third quarter.

LAST TIME VS. UCONN AT RENTSCHLER STADIUM
Temple last traveled to East Hartford on November 24, 2018, in a game the Owls won 57-7. They amassed 516 total yards and led 40-7 at halftime. WR Isiah Wright returned a kickoff for a touchdown, and CB Christian Braswell recorded a pick-six.

Temple will be on its first of two byes next week, with the Owls' next contest being against Tulsa in the annual homecoming game on October 19. The kickoff time and broadcaster are TBA.
