Oklahoma State quarterback Alan Bowman is on the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award watch list, it was announced.

The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award recognizes the top senior or upperclassmen quarterback that is set to graduate with their class, with Bowman being one of 63 student-athletes named to the list, and one of 12 quarterbacks selected from the Big 12.

Entering his seventh year of college football, Bowman is coming off a successful 2023 season in which he helped lead the Cowboys to 10 wins and an appearance in the Big 12 Championship game. He threw for 247.1 yards per game throughout the year, good for second in the conference, and added 17 total touchdowns. Bowman's passing yard average increased to 285.9 against Big 12 competition, which eventually led to the seventh-highest single-season passing total in school history with 3,460 yards.

Bowman has totaled over 8,800 yards of total offense in 39 games played throughout his career and eclipsed more than 50 total touchdowns responsible for.

The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner will be revealed on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.
