Army West Point Football Head Coach Jeff Monken has announced the addition of J Banzet, Recruiting Content Coordinator Zach Gold, Director of Player Personnel, and Beau Rochler, Assistant Director of Video Operations, to the staff.
Banzet joins the Black Knights after spending the last several seasons at the University of North Carolina. Most recently he served as the Director of Media and Branding for the hockey team. He also spent time as a student manager for the football team. He received his degree this past spring in sports administration.
Gold joins Army after spending the past six years (2019-24) at Temple University, where he progressed from a graduate assistant to the Director of Scouting for the football team.
He supervised many aspects of recruitment and scouting for high school, junior college, and transfer portal prospects. He also led evaluation sessions with coaches to determine the allocation of scholarships.
He received his bachelor's degree in communication studies from Northwestern University in 2018 and later received his master's degree from Temple University.
At Northwestern, he worked for four seasons as a student manager for the football team.
Rochler joins Army after spending the last four years (2021-24) at Binghamton University as a communications intern for the athletic department and a graphic designer for the women's basketball team.
He assisted in carrying out media operations for home events and created graphics for posting on social media. He also grew his freelance photography and videography Instagram account to over 100,000 followers by creating content revolving around numerous collegiate athletic programs.
He received his bachelor's degree in human development from Binghamton University in 2021.
