Baylor football administrator Keava Soil-Cormier has moved into a newly created Associate AD for NIL Administration and Pro Relations role, Aaron Hunt has been promoted to Associate AD for Player Personnel, and Callie Cameron has been hired as Director of Player Personnel, it was announced.
Soil-Cormier moves into the newly created role of Associate AD for NIL Administration and Pro Relations. She will work directly with Baylor NIL unit on all elements NIL-related, including player relations, and serve as the program's NIL liaison.
A native of Lafayette, La., Soil-Cormier served as the Associate AD for Player Personnel from 2022-23, where she oversaw recruiting operations. She previously spent seven seasons with LSU football, including a role as assistant director of recruiting operations.
Hunt has been elevated to Associate AD for Player Personnel. Hunt, a former All-America defensive lineman in the Big 12, has served as the Assistant AD for Scouting for the last two seasons and has spent three seasons on the staff. Hunt, who set the Big 12 Conference record with 34 career sacks, played 10 years of professional football before founding 306 Elite Performance and Development, a non-profit organization, in 2014 in Denison, Texas.
Cameron comes to the Bears after most recently serving as the Director of Operations and Recruiting Director at Houston Christian University. She served as the Director of Football Operations and Recruiting Coordinator at Crosby High School from 2023-24. She is a 2015 graduate of Midland University. She comes from a family rooted in Texas High School Football, as her father, Paul, served as the head coach at Hamshire-Fannett High School and served as the defensive coordinator at Bastrop HS.
"Really excited about these next chapters for Keava and Aaron, and the addition of Callie to our staff," Coach Dave Aranda said. "They have both been tremendous resources for me during my career and are highly skilled at what they do. Keava has a great ability to organize and execute and will be a natural fit in leading our NIL efforts, in conjunction with David Kaye's team. Aaron is an infectious personality that approaches everything with a smile and positive attitude and will be able to step right into the player personnel role with great success. Callie has worn many hats during her career, has a great working relationship with the THSCA and will be a versatile asset to our building."
Baylor will open its 2024 season on Aug. 31 vs. Tarleton at McLane Stadium.
