University of Houston Football and Oregon State will play a home-and-home series, beginning Sept. 27, 2025, in Corvallis, Ore., the schools announced.
Houston will host Oregon State on Sept. 5, 2026, at TDECU Stadium. The teams have met three times previously but have not faced off since Oct. 17, 1970, at the Astrodome. Houston leads the abbreviated series, 2-1, with wins at the Astrodome (19-16; Oct. 17, 1970) and Rice Stadium (23-12; Dec. 2, 1961). The Beavers won the first matchup, 29-20, on Oct. 1, 1960, in Portland, Ore.
Houston kicks off the Head Coach Willie Fritz era and 2024 season on Saturday, Aug. 31, inside TDECU Stadium against UNLV. Non-conference play continues with a visit to Oklahoma on Saturday, Sept. 7, and wraps with the Bayou Bucket Classic inside TDECU Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 14.
