You have to give it to FOX Sports. The network may have lost a national championship winning head coach in Urban Meyer, but it has reloaded with another coach who knows a thing or two about championships and big games.
Bob Stoops, who had a combined record of 190–48 (.798) - including a national championship in 2000 - during his 18 years as the head coach at Oklahoma, will take over for Meyer as a panelist on FOX's Big Noon Kickoff, according to sources.
Meyer, who was a popular analyst on FOX Sports, made the jump to the NFL after being hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars this offseason. During his time at the college level, Urban Meyer never had a losing campaign in 17 seasons as a college head coach, going 187-32.
As for Stoops, he returns to the world of college football to join FOX's star-studded panel with the likes of Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn and host Rob Stone for the upcoming season.
