Highlighted by three standout wide receivers, Cincinnati football announced the additions of eight transfers.

Head coach Scott Satterfield and his staff recently welcomed receivers Xzavier Henderson (Florida), Braden Smith (Louisville) and Aaron Turner (UConn) to the program in addition to offensive lineman Deondre Buford (Kentucky), defensive lineman Jalen Hunt (Michigan State), defensive end Kyree Moyston (Virginia Tech), linebacker Dion Hunter (New Mexico) and defensive back George Udo (BYU).

Henderson and Turner led their previous teams in receptions last season and will team with Smith to bolster a pass-catching corps that returned only one letterwinner from the 2022 squad.

Cincinnati also previously announced the additions of wide receivers Dee Wiggins (Louisville), Donovan Ollie (Washington State), Sterling Berkhalter (North Carolina AT&T).

"I'm excited to officially welcome our newest Bearcats to the University of Cincinnati and our football program," Satterfield said. "This group of talented young men will make us better right away. They bring much-needed experience to the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, and will elevate many of our position rooms, especially our receivers group. The start of camp and Higher Ground is right around the corner and we can't wait to get started preparing for Eastern Kentucky and playing inside Nippert Stadium."

Led by Satterfield and returning third-team Associated Press All-Americans defensive lineman Dontay Corleone and punter Mason Fletcher, Cincinnati football is preparing for one of the most exciting seasons in school history this fall. The Bearcats enter the Big 12 on July 1 and host seven games at Nippert Stadium.

Cincinnati opens the season on Sept. 2 when it hosts Eastern Kentucky at 3:30 p.m. (Big 12 Now on ESPN+).
