Mac Hippenhammer, a member of the Miami University football team, has agreed to terms on a mini-camp invite with the Cincinnati Bengals. The Penn State transfer finished his Miami career with 107 catches for 1,632 yards and 14 touchdowns in 26 career games.
This past season Hippenhammer had a team-high 54 catches for 769 yards to go along with nine touchdowns, earning second-team All-MAC accolades. He had eight catches for 107 yards and a career-best three touchdowns versus Ohio and opened the year with seven grabs for 85 yards at Kentucky.
In 2021 he earned third-team All-MAC after finishing with 48 catches for 786 yards and five scores. He had a career-best eight catches for 170 yards in a win over Central Michigan.
Prior to arriving in Oxford, Hippenhammer played in 20 games for the Nittany Lions, earning academic All-Big Ten in 2019.
