The Bowling Green football program has added Ventura College wide receiver transfer Bo Tate, according to head football coach Scot Loeffler. Tate will have two years of eligibility with the Falcons.

Tate (Oxnard, Calif.) appeared in 18 career games at Ventura College in California. He comes to BGSU with 57 receptions, 616 receiving yards and three touchdowns at the junior college level in 2021 and 2022. Tate is coming off a 2022 season when h collected 34 receptions for 368 yards and three scores as Ventura went 7-4 and lost in the CCCAA Southern Regional Championship.
 
Tate was a 2019 graduate of Oxnard High School where he never lost a league game in football.
