Colorado State has completed its 2027 football schedule with two additions and a focus on the state of Texas as the Rams are slated to play a home-and-home series with Conference USA foe Sam Houston (2027-28) and a home game vs. Houston Baptist in 2027.
The trip to Huntsville in 2027 will mark the third trip down to Texas in four years for the Rams who are scheduled to play at Texas in 2024 (Aug. 31), host Texas Tech in 2025 (Sept. 6), and return the trip to Lubbock in 2026 (Sept. 19).
Trips to the state of Texas have been limited for the program since the departure of TCU from the conference. Only once since 2011 have the Rams played in Texas, that coming in 2015 with a trip to UTSA on the front-end of a home-and-home with the Roadrunners.
With the addition of Sam Houston and Houston Baptist, future non-conference schedules are complete through 2027. That season, the Rams are scheduled to open the season by hosting Arizona (Sept. 4) before road games at Sam Houston (Sept. 11) and Wisconsin (Sept. 18.)
Future Non-Conference Games Announced:
- at Sam Houston – Sept. 11, 2027
- Houston Baptist – Sept. 25, 2027
- Sam Houston – Sept. 9, 2028
