Wide receiver Karmello English has decided to stay in Alabama by committing to play football for Bryan Harsin's Auburn Tigers.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound WR is out of Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama. With plenty of buzz surrounding him this summer, English has been rising up most recruiting charts, coming in at No. 66 in the ESPN 300.
The speedy wideout had highly publicized offers from Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Cincinnati and Michigan, but ultimately felt the Tigers were the right fit.
Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin has been on the hot seat with boosters lately, and of the two, most will agree it's been the boosters pulling their weight. Auburn currently has three recruits ranked in the ESPN 300 ratings with English, RB Jeremiah Cobb (No. 279) and S Terrance Love (No. 282).
English is the No. 13 ranked WR in the 2023 class, per the ESPN 300, and the No. 8 player overall in the state of Alabama.
