The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team will begin its 18-game American Athletic Conference slate on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Houston.
Thirteen of the league contests will air on ESPN's linear networks, including Jan. 9 at Memphis on ABC. UC fans will also have the opportunity to ring in 2022 at Fifth Third Arena when the Bearcats host Tulane on Jan. 1. The squad continues the homestand Thursday, Jan. 6 with SMU.
Other home games include East Carolina (Jan. 12), Tulsa (Jan. 20), Memphis (Feb. 3), Houston (Feb. 6), Wichita State (Feb. 17), Temple (Feb. 20) and South Florida (Feb. 26). The schedule calls for home-and-homes with every league opponent except for UCF (Orlando on Feb. 23) and Tulane.
The regular season concludes March 3 at SMU, with the AAC Tournament following at Fort Worth's Dickies Arena (March 10-13).
Cincinnati, which unveiled its non-conference schedule Sept. 17, opens the Wes Miller era on Tuesday, Nov. 9 against Evansville. Other key matchups include Georgia at home on Nov. 13, the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City from Nov. 22-23 (Illinois, plus Arkansas/Kansas State), and the Crosstown Shootout at Xavier on Dec. 11.
