Led by a balanced scoring attack, University of Missouri men's basketball team cruised to a record-tying 72-point win in a 111-39 effort Thursday night. With the win, the Tigers improve to 3-1 on the season and 3-0 in Mizzou Arena.

The 72-point victory matches the largest in school history, tying the mark first set in 1976 versus MacMurray (106-34) and also accomplished against Chicago State in 1995 (117-45).

Graduate senior Marques Warrick led the team with 16 points, including four 3-pointers, while Tamar Bates and Caleb Grill chipped in 15. Warrick led the team with 11 points and three triples in the opening 20 minutes of action, giving MU a 51-19 advantage heading into the locker room.

Mizzou came out of the locker room strong, scoring the first 15 points of the second half, highlighted by A Mark Mitchell fastbreak dunk. The Tigers cruised from there to tie the program record for margin of victory.
