The pairings, game times and television coverage for the 2024 Legends Classic presented by Old Trapper at Barclays Center have been set, the Gazelle Group announced.
Texas will face Syracuse in the first semifinal on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. Central (7 p.m. Eastern) on ESPN2. Texas Tech will play Saint Joseph's in the second semifinal on Nov. 21 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Central (9:30 p.m. Eastern) on ESPN2.
The consolation game between Thursday's two losing teams is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. Central (7 p.m. Eastern) on ESPNU. The championship game between Thursday's two winning teams is slated for Nov. 22 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Central (9:30 p.m. Eastern) on ESPNU.
Texas will make its fourth appearance in the Legends Classic. The Longhorns competed in the inaugural event in 2007 in addition to competing in the tourney in 2011 and 2016. UT won the Legends Classic in 2007 after recording a 97-78 victory over then-No. 7 Tennessee in the championship game.
