The Maui Invitational announced its highly-anticipated 2025 tournament field. To be played at the historic Lahaina Civic Center Nov. 24-26, 2025, the 42nd annual tournament will feature eight premier college basketball programs who share 156 NCAA Tournament appearances, 19 Final Fours and five national championships.

The 2025 Maui Invitational field:

Baylor Bears – Led by Head Coach Scott Drew, the Baylor Bears have been one of the most dominant teams in college basketball over the last four years, compiling a 74-29 record and playing in every NCAA Tournament since 2019, including winning the 2021 National Championship. Baylor is one of only four teams to have won at least one game in the last five NCAA Tournaments. Baylor has played in two previous Maui Invitationals (1987, 2013), compiling a 3-3 record in those events.

Chaminade Silverswords – Chaminade University is the annual host school and member of the PacWest Conference (Division II). Chaminade's win against the University of Virginia on Dec. 23, 1982, was the inception of the Maui Invitational and encouraged the elite teams in college basketball to compete in the Maui Invitational.

NC State Wolfpack – Head Coach Kevin Keatts leads the NC State Wolfpack into the 2025 Maui Invitational after helping the Wolfpack to a 139-94 record over the past seven seasons. NC State made a historic run to end the 2024 season where they won the ACC Tournament before making the program's fourth Final Four.

Oregon Ducks – Three-time Pac-12 Coach of the Year Dana Altman leads the Oregon Ducks into the 2025 Maui Invitational as one of the most prolific coaches in college basketball. Altman is one of only three active coaches in NCAA Division I college basketball with 27 consecutive winning seasons – the last 14 of them at the University of Oregon. The Ducks concluded the 2023-2024 season winning the Pac-12 conference tournament, earning the program its 18th NCAA Tournament appearance. Oregon has competed in three previous Maui Invitationals (2008, 2016, 2021), compiling a 4-5 record in those appearances.

Seton Hall Pirates – The Seton Hall Pirates join the 2025 Maui Invitational field coming off a 2023-2024 campaign that saw them go 25-12 and win the NIT championship. Head Coach Shaheen Holloway returned to his alma mater following the 2022 season after leading his Saint Peter's team to an unprecedented run to the 2022 Elite Eight. This will be Seton Hall's second Maui Invitational appearance (2001).

Texas Longhorns – The Texas Longhorns continue their run as one of college basketball's premier programs – making the NCAA Tournament in each of the last four seasons and are one of just seven schools to appear in 22 of the last 25 NCAA Tournaments. The Longhorns are led by Head Coach Rodney Terry, who has guided the team to a 43-21 record in his two seasons at the helm. The Longhorns have competed in the Maui Invitational five times (1993, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2020), boasting a 10–5 record in those appearances, including winning the 2020 tournament.

UNLV Runnin' Rebels - UNLV will make their fifth appearance in the Maui Invitational in 2025, where they have compiled a 6-4 record in their previous four appearances. The Runnin' Rebels are led by Kevin Kruger, who has a 58-40 record in his three seasons at UNLV and will enter the 2024-2025 campaign coming off his best season at the helm.

USC Trojans – Following the 2023-2024 season, Eric Musselman was named head coach of the USC Trojans, a program that's gone to the NCAA Tournament in three of the last four seasons. One of the most distinguished coaches in college basketball, Musselman's coaching record of 221-93 includes six NCAA Tournament appearances, four Sweet 16's and two Elite Eight's while serving as head coach at Nevada (2015-2019) and Arkansas (2019-2024).

"We are grateful to announce another stellar field to compete in the 2025 tournament," said KemperSports LIVE Executive Vice President Tom Valdiserri. "It's always a treat to bring together some of the best in college basketball on the beautiful island of Maui."

Travel packages for the 2025 tournament will be available in early 2025 with single game tickets available at a later date.
