Michigan State's men's basketball team clinched the No. 8 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will face No. 9 seed Minnesota on Thursday, March 14 at Target Center in Minneapolis.
The Spartans will square off with the Golden Gophers in the first game of the morning session, tipping off noon ET (11 a.m. CT) on BTN.
Michigan State split the season series with Minnesota, winning 77-66 at home on Jan. 16, and losing 59-56 on the road on Feb. 6.
The winner of the game between the Spartans and Golden Gophers will advance to play in the quarterfinals on Friday, March 15 against No. 1 seed Purdue. That game tips off at noon (ET) on BTN.
Michigan State closed out the regular season with an 18-13 overall record and a 10-10 mark in the Big Ten.
