Senior Keyontae Johnson was among 78 players invited to attend the 2023 NBA Draft Combine in Chicago next week.

Johnson will get the opportunity to interview with NBA teams at the Draft Combine, while participating in 5-on-5 games as well as shooting and strength and agility drills. The Draft Combine is an important step in the draft process for NBA prospects, leading up to the NBA Draft 2023 presented by State Farm on June 22.

Fans can follow the Draft Combine on Wednesday-Thursday, May 17-18 on ESPN2 and the ESPN app. Coverage begins May 17 from 1-5 p.m., CT and continues May 18 from 3-7 p.m., CT with host John Schiffren, analysts Corey Alexander, Andraya Carter and Bobby Marks providing in-depth analysis and interviews.

Strength and agility drills and shooting drills will be broadcast live on the NBA App on Monday, May 15 from 2-4 p.m., CT with host John Fanta showcasing the event's top prospects.

Johnson was among eight Big 12 players invited to the Draft Combine, joining Baylor's Adam Flagler and Keyonte George, Kansas' Gradey Dick, Kevin McCullar and Jalen Wilson, TCU's Mike Miles Jr and Texas' Dillon Mitchell. Johnson is the first Wildcat to earn an invitation to the Draft Combine since Wes Iwundu in 2017.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound forward from Norfolk, Va., was named a Third Team All-American by The Associated Press and NABC after averaging 17.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 34.1 minutes per game en route to helping K-State to a 26-win season and the Elite Eight. A finalist for the Julius Erving Small Forward Award, he was also honored as the Phillips 66 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year and named to the All-Big 12 First Team.

Teammate and fellow senior Markquis Nowell was recently invited to the 2023 NBA G League Elite Camp, which takes places Saturday-Sunday, May 13-14 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. A select group of players from the camp will be invited to participate in the Draft Combine.
