Cincinnati head men's basketball coach Wes Miller has announced the program's addition of Temple transfer forward Jamille Reynolds for the 2023-24 season.

"We've coached against Jamille the last two years and have always been impressed with his ability," Miller said. "He has a rare combination of size, agility, explosiveness and power. He's skilled and has a natural feel for basketball.

"As we've built a relationship with him this spring, I've found him to be a young man of high character that's motivated to become an elite player. I believe he will do that at Cincinnati."

Reynolds, who has two years of eligibility remaining, started 11 of his 22 games played last season, averaging 10.1 points and 5.4 rebounds on 60.4 percent shooting, with the latter two marking team-highs. He scored in double-figures 12 times, including a career-high 21 points with eight boards against St. John's, and averaged 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in back-to-back games against Villanova and Vanderbilt. Reynolds scored 12 points in his finale against Cincinnati in Fort Worth and had 11 in the overtime battle at Fifth Third Arena on Feb. 22.

Reynolds, a native of St. Petersburg, Fla., began his career at UCF. He played 25 games in 2021-22 and started 13 times as a true freshman in 2020-21. His seven points in the Bearcats' and Knights' lone 2022 meeting was his AAC season-high.
