TCU's Damion Baugh and Emanuel Miller each reached 20 points as the No. 22-ranked Horned Frogs never trailed in a 75-73 win over No. 9 Texas Wednesday in front of a packed crowd of 8,194 at Schollmaier Arena.

Baugh scored a career-high 24 points, which included an 8-of-8 effort from the free throw line and added nine assists.  Miller recorded his second-straight double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. 
 
TCU (20-10, 9-8) took the lead from the opening tip with a quick steal and lay-in from Baugh. The Horned Frogs shot 62.1 percent from the field in the first half and led by as many as 16 towards the end of the period. 
 
TCU shot just 29.8 percent in the second half but outrebounded Texas (22-8, 11-6) for the game, 46-28, to help record its fifth 20-win season in the last seven years. 
 
The win ensures that TCU will begin play in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Championship on Thursday, March 9.
 
The Frogs close out the regular season in Norman, Okla. on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Oklahoma. The game will be available on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

  • TCU improved to 46-42 against UT in Fort Worth. The Frogs snapped a three-game losing streak to the Longhorns in Fort Worth. 
  • TCU improved to 5-6 against AP Top 25 teams this season.
  • Of TCU's 32 wins over AP Top 25 wins in its history, 18 have come in the last seven seasons under Jamie Dixon.
  • TCU's nine Big 12 Conference wins matches its most-ever in the conference (2018).
  • TCU never trailed.
  • TCU outshot Texas 46.4 percent to 39.1 percent and improved to 15-3 when outshooting the opponent.

  • The announced attendance of 8,194 was the second-most ever to see a TCU home game. The student attendance of 2,569 marked the third-highest ever.

Individual Notes 

  • Emanuel Miller recorded his second-straight double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. It was his 14th-career double-double.
  • Miller's 20 points was his fifth time this season scoring 20 or more points. 
  • Damion Baugh led in scoring with a career-high 24 points. It was the third 20-point game in his career. 
  • Baugh led the team with nine assists. It was his 13th-straight game leading TCU in assists and the 21st time this season leading the team in that category out of 24 games played. 
  • Micah Peavy tied a season high with two three pointers (2-for-2). It was his second time shooting 100 percent from the 3-point line this season. Peavy has 12 3-pointers made this season. He had five the previous two seasons. 
  • TCU was without Souleymane Doumbia (concussion).
