Texas Tech’s De’Vion Harmon and Kansas’ Gradey Dick picked up Big 12 men’s basketball awards as Harmon collected his second career Player of the Week honor while Dick nabbed his third Newcomer of the Week accolade.

Harmon scored a career-high 25 points to lead Tech to a 74-67 win over No. 6 Texas last Monday before scoring 13 points in a 78-72 road win at West Virginia. He has scored in double figures in nine straight games and is averaging 19.4 ppg over the past five outings. The senior guard was 9-of-17 from the field with three 3-pointers against the Longhorns before adding three assists and two steals to his 13 points against WVU. Harmon is now averaging 13.7 points for the season and leads Tech with 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game. He comes into this week with 1,299 career points, including 551 during his two seasons at Oklahoma to begin his career. He'll play at OU as an opponent for the first time on Tuesday night.
 
Dick opened the week scoring a career-high 26 points with three rebounds, three assists and two steals in the 87-76 road win at Oklahoma State, ending the Cowboys' five-game winning streak. In the 87-71 win versus No. 9 Baylor, Dick scored 16 points with five rebounds and two steals. Dick averaged 21.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in the two wins as the Jayhawks remain tied for the top spot in the Big 12 standings.
