Mike Miles Jr. scored a game-high 21 points in No. 14 TCU's 74-65 loss at West Virginia Wednesday at WVU Coliseum.

The Horned Frogs (14-4, 3-3) battled foul trouble early with Miles and Damion Baugh picking up two fouls in the games' first 10 minutes. TCU could not find a rhythm in the first half as it shot 39.1 percent and trailed by as many as 18 before a 39-24 halftime deficit. 
 
TCU shot 13-of-19 (68.4 percent) in the second half. On a 21-8 scoring run, the Horned Frogs took a 17-point deficit with 11:23 to play down to two, 62-60, with 5:14 remaining. The Mountaineers (11-7, 1-5) then closed the game on a 12-5 run for their first Big 12 Conference win. 
 
TCU outshot WVU, 52.4 percent to 46.3 percent, but were beaten in rebounding, 31-18.
 
Baugh and Emanuel Miller joined Miles in double figures with 13 points each. 
 
The Horned Frogs will remain on the road and head to Kansas to face the No. 2-ranked Jayhawks on Saturday at noon on CBS.

  • TCU moved to 4-18 all-time against West Virginia.
