Mike Miles Jr. scored a game-high 21 points in No. 14 TCU's 74-65 loss at West Virginia Wednesday at WVU Coliseum.

The Horned Frogs (14-4, 3-3) battled foul trouble early with Miles and Damion Baugh picking up two fouls in the games' first 10 minutes. TCU could not find a rhythm in the first half as it shot 39.1 percent and trailed by as many as 18 before a 39-24 halftime deficit. 
 
TCU shot 13-of-19 (68.4 percent) in the second half. On a 21-8 scoring run, the Horned Frogs took a 17-point deficit with 11:23 to play down to two, 62-60, with 5:14 remaining. The Mountaineers (11-7, 1-5) then closed the game on a 12-5 run for their first Big 12 Conference win. 
 
TCU outshot WVU, 52.4 percent to 46.3 percent, but were beaten in rebounding, 31-18.
 
Baugh and Emanuel Miller joined Miles in double figures with 13 points each. 
 
The Horned Frogs will remain on the road and head to Kansas to face the No. 2-ranked Jayhawks on Saturday at noon on CBS.

  • TCU moved to 4-18 all-time against West Virginia. 
  • TCU shot 52.4 percent from the field. It was the fifth-straight game the Frogs shot over 48 percent. 
  • TCU was 13-of-19 from the field in the second half for 68.4 percent.
  • TCU was called for a season-high 24 fouls. 
  • TCU's 19 turnovers were its most this season.

  • Mike Miles scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field. It was his 20th-straight double-digit scoring game, dating back to last season. It was his sixth game this season with 20 or more points.
  • Miles moved into 26th place on the all-time scoring list with 1,102 points.
  • Emanuel Miller scored in double figures for the 13th time with 13 points.
  • Miller had a team-high five rebounds. It was his third time this season leading the team in that category.
  • Miller had a career-high five steals.
  • Damion Baugh had a team-high five assists. It was the ninth time this season he led the team.
  • Baugh scored 13 points. It was the ninth time he's scored in double figures.  
  • Eddie Lampkin had five points and three rebounds before fouling out with 6:11 remaining.
