Temple will take on St. John's in its' opening game of the 27th annual Empire Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project presented by Continental Tire on Nov. 21 (9:30 pm/ESPNews).
The match-ups and schedule were released today for the Classic, which will take place November 21-22 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Richmond will play Syracuse in the early game on Nov. 21 at 7 pm on ESPNU. The championship game (9 pm) and consolation game (7 pm) will be televised live on ESPN2.
These four programs rank among the winningest in college basketball history. Temple ranks fifth all-time with 1,962 wins, with Syracuse right behind with 1,956. St. John's is ranked ninth all-time with 1,904 wins. Richmond has posted 1,451 wins.
