The American Athletic Conference announced its schedule pairings for the 2022-23 men's basketball season. The Knights face eight AAC teams twice during the regular season – once at home and once on the road. Cincinnati, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, South Florida, Temple, Tulsa and Wichita State are the teams that UCF plays both home and away.

UCF hosts SMU in the lone matchup between the teams during the regular season, while the Knights travel to Tulane.

The 2023 American Athletic Conference Championship returns to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. For the third consecutive year, the men's and women's tournaments will be held at the same venue, with the men's championship slated to be held March 9-12.

The complete 2022-23 men's basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date. The first conference play dates will be December 27-29 and league play will run through Sunday, March 5, 2023.
