TCU Baseball's Tommy LaPour was named the Big 12 Co-Pitcher of the Week for his performance in Thursday's win at UCF. The honor is the first in LaPour's career and the fourth for the Horned Frogs this season.

LaPour turned in his fifth straight quality start in guiding the Horned Frogs to a 6-1win in the series-opener at UCF. The sophomore right-hander held the league's top hitting team to just four hits over seven innings. He surrendered an unearned run and struck out four. Only two base runners reached third in the contest.

LaPour joins Cole Cramer and Sawyer Strosnider as honorees this season. Cramer was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week on Feb. 18, while Strosnider was the Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the week on March 24.

TCU (29-12, 12-6 Big 12) returns to action Friday night when it hosts Baylor. First pitch of the series opener is slated for 6 p.m.
