The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly baseball honors for the 10th week of the regular season.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Norris McClure, Sr., INF, UTSA
McClure went 10-12 (.833) with seven runs scored, two doubles, three home runs and 11 RBI as the Roadrunners earned a series win over Tulane. The senior recorded at least three hits in each game, including a 4-for-5 day in the finale on Saturday. In that 25-7 win on Saturday, McClure hit two home runs in the second inning alone and ended the day with eight RBI and three runs scored.
 
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Trey Beard, So., P, Florida Atlantic
Beard earned the win on Thursday against Wichita State, allowing one run in six innings while scattering five hits with seven strikeouts. It was the sixth time in 10 starts that the sophomore has allowed one or zero earned runs.
 
HONORABLE MENTION
Braden Burress, Fr., OF, East Carolina
Burress hit .667 (12-18) with seven runs scored and five RBI as the Pirates went 3-1 last week, including a series win over UAB.
 
Brad Pruett, So., P, East Carolina
Pruett earned the win in a 5-3 Pirate victory over UAB on Friday, throwing 6.1 innings with two runs allowed while scattering two hits and two walks with three strikeouts.
 
Marshall Lipsey, Jr., OF, Florida Atlantic
Lipsey hit .429 (6-14) with five runs scored, two doubles, one triple, one home run and three runs driven as the Owls went 3-1 last week, including a sweep of Wichita State.
 
Jack Ben-Shoshan, Sr., P, Rice
Ben-Shoshan did not allow a run in 4.1 innings of relief in two appearances while earning the save on Friday against Memphis.
 
Treyton Rank, Sr., INF/OF, Rice
Rank hit .385 (5-13) with three runs scored, two doubles, a triple, a home run and three RBI in four games for the Tigers.
