Texas’ Murphy Stehly (Player), TCU’s Riley Cornelio (Pitcher) and Kansas State’s Josh Nicoloff (Newcomer) were picked by a five-person media panel for Big 12 baseball weekly awards, for games ending March 20.

Stehly hit .545 with four home runs, 14 RBI and had three games with at least three hits in Texas’ 4-1 week. He had the sixth three-homer game in Longhorn program history Sunday, helping UT to its fourth straight win. Stehly had a four-hit game to open the series against Incarnate Word, driving in six runs. Overall, he added a .615 on-base percentage, a 1.182 slugging percentage and stole a base, while getting a hit in all five games.
 
Cornelio threw 8.0 scoreless innings of two-hit baseball in TCU’s Big 12 opener against Baylor Friday night. He matched his career-high with seven strikeouts and faced the minimum in six of his eight innings. Cornelio retired the last 10 batters he faced, and only allowed four Baylor baserunners on his way to pick up the win.
 
Nicoloff extended his hitting streak to 12 games, hitting .467 with two home runs and eight RBI in four games. He hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the seventh inning Sunday, giving K-State a series sweep of Morehead State and extending the Wildcats’ win streak to eight games. Nicoloff opened the week with a 3-for-5 game at Omaha, driving in a season-high four runs with a double and a home run. The Columbia transfer had a .556 on-base percentage and a 1.067 slugging percentage for the week.
