Arizona Wildcats catcher Daniel Susac hauled in two Player of the Week honors on Monday, one from the Pac-12 Conference and the other a national honor from Collegiate Baseball.

This marks the second career Pac-12 weekly honor of his career and his second National Player of the Week selection after earning one from Perfect Game as a freshman in 2021.

Across four games against New Mexico and California last week, Susac hit an astounding .526 (10x19) with five runs scored, two doubles, three home runs, 11 RBI, a 1.105 slugging percentage, and a .500 on-base percentage. He led all Arizona players in hits, extra-base hits, RBI, and slugging percentage as they went 3-1 on the week.

Defensively, Susac started all four games behind the plate for the Wildcats and posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on 30 chances.

His week featured multiple base hits and at least one run scored in all four games as the consensus Preseason All-American raised his season batting average to .416. In Sunday's rubber match at California, Susac hit two home runs in the first inning, making him the first Arizona player to accomplish the feat in 24 years.

Susac's honor from the conference is the third weekly award given by the Pac-12 to an Arizona player this year; outfielder Tanner O'Tremba and right-handed pitcher Dawson Netz swept the week one edition of the weekly awards after their outstanding performances at the College Baseball Showdown.

Susac and the No. 16 Wildcats return home to host a crucial Top 25 matchup against the No. 12 Stanford Cardinal at Hi Corbett Field this weekend.
