One of the most fun things to do during the college football offseason is look at some of our favorite teams and imagine them as other things.

Whether that's the truth or not, it's the premise for this article. So you might just want to accept it. We're starting with three fan favorites in Part I of our series featuring Big 12 teams. Let's take a look, shall we?

Texas is one of the biggest brands in college sports, and a big reason for that is the program is built for the long haul. You could say, and please do for the sake of this image, that the Texas Longhorns are built Ford Tough.

The Ferrari brand of automobiles is one of the most recognized and respected in the business of speed. And while Texas Tech has hit a rough patch lately, there is no denying the Red Raiders are known for speedy, up-tempo offenses. So here's a Ford GT II that looks like a Ferrari, but isn't one.
