ASU’s Cam Skattebo (offensive), Texas Tech’s Jacob Rodriguez (defensive), the Baylor duo of Bryson Washington (co-newcomer) and Isaiah Hankins (co-special teams) as well as the Houston tandem of Zeon Chriss (co-newcomer) and Liam Dougherty (co-special teams) were selected as the Big 12’s football award winners for Week 10.

Skattebo earned his fourth weekly award of the season after accounting for 274 all-purpose yards in ASU’s win at Oklahoma State, which were the most by an FBS running back in Week 10. The senior ran for 153 yards on 23 carries and a score while catching four passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns. Skattebo is just the sixth player in Big 12 history to rush for 150 yards and tally 100 yards receiving in the same game. He also is the first Sun Devil with 100 yards rushing and receiving in the same game since Demario Richard in 2015.

Rodriguez tallied 13 tackles, including two-and-a-half for a loss, a pair of sacks and a forced fumble in Texas Tech’s win at then-No.11/10 Iowa State. The linebacker matched his career high for tackles, while also setting career marks for sacks and tackles for loss in the Red Raiders' first road win over a team ranked in the top 10 of either poll since 2011. Rodriguez now leads the Conference with 84 total tackles, which ranks tied for eighth nationally.

Winning his second weekly honor this season, Washington erupted for 196 yards on the ground with four touchdowns in Baylor’s 37-34 win versus TCU. His 196 rushing yards set a career high by 80 yards and were the most by a Bear since 2016. Washington also became the first Big 12 player to rush for four touchdowns in Conference play this season and became the first Baylor player to run for a quartet of scores in a game since Terrance Ganaway reached the endzone five times versus Washington in 2011.

Earning his first Big 12 weekly honor, Chriss joined Washington in winning co-newcomer honors after guiding Houston to a win over then-No. 17/15 Kansas State. The Cougars’ signal caller was a perfect 11 of 11 in the air for 103 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 75 yards and a score. Chriss became the first UH quarterback to complete 100% of his passes with a minimum of 10 attempts and the 13th underclassmen to achieve the feat in FBS. His highlight performance included a pivotal 41-yard touchdown run.

Hankins made the most of his only field goal attempt for Baylor on Saturday, drilling the game-winning kick as time expired from 33 yards out. His walk-off make was BU’s first winning kick as time expired since 2020. He also made four extra points to help the Bears pick up their first home win over TCU since 2014.

Becoming the first punter to win a Conference award this season, Dougherty pinned K-State back with five of his six punts downed inside the 20-yard line in Houston’s win. The freshman’s longest punt of the day was a booming 65-yard kick, which was a career high and the fifth-longest punt in the Big 12 this season. His final punt of the game came with 45 seconds to play and was fielded at the Kansas State 1-yard line to set up the final drive of the game.
