Boise State and San José State will face off in the 2020 Mountain West Football Championship Game, which will be played on Saturday, Dec. 19.
Boise State (4-0 MW), which will play at Wyoming in its regular-season finale on Saturday, can finish with no more than one loss in Mountain West play. The Broncos will appear in their fourth-consecutive MW championship contest and fifth overall.
San José State is set to make its first MW championship game appearance in program history after defeating Nevada (30-20) on Friday night. The Spartans finished the regular season with a perfect 6-0 record.
If Boise State were to lose on Saturday, San José State would host the championship game. However, if Boise State wins and both teams are undefeated in Conference action, the host site won’t be announced until Sunday, Dec. 13.
