Iowa State’s Breece Hall (offensive) along with the Oklahoma State trio of Malcolm Rodriguez (defensive), Brennan Presley (special teams) and Collin Oliver (newcomer) picked up the season’s final Big 12 football player of the week awards. Hall was honored for the sixth time in his career. Rodriguez was recognized for the third week this season and fifth occasion in his career. Presley and Oliver received their first awards.

Hall had a record-setting day in Iowa State's 48-14 win over TCU. He posted career highs in rushing yards (242), total touchdowns (4) and rushing TDs (3). His 242 rushing yards is the 10th-best single-game effort in school history and his four TDs tie for the fifth-most in a game in school history. Hall had a 39-yard TD rush and an 80-yard TD rush, the longest rush of his career and tying for the sixth-longest in school history. He also had a career-high 281 yards from scrimmage, the sixth-best single-game tally in the ISU record book. The big achievement for Hall was breaking the NCAA FBS record for consecutive games with a rushing touchdown with 24. He also tied the Big 12 record with his 20th career multi-TD game. Hall averaged 13.4 yards per carry on his historical night.

Rodriguez led the Cowboys’ defense with 11 total tackles in No. 7 Oklahoma State’s 37-33 win over No. 10 Oklahoma, helping hold the Sooner offense scoreless in the second half. His 3.0 tackles for loss were the most in the game and his 2.0 sacks tied Oliver for the lead of all players in the contest. He also added a pass breakup on OU's second-to-last drive of the game.

Presley weaved through the OU kickoff coverage unit and cut across the field to return a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown. He had another kickoff return of 42 yards that started an OSU touchdown drive. Presley ended the game with 174 all-purpose yards to lead all players in the game. The return tied a school record and made him just the third Cowboy ever with a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown, as he joined Barry Sanders who did it three times and Justin Gilbert who did it twice.

Oliver recorded two crucial solo sacks against OU quarterback Caleb Williams in the fourth quarter to help preserve the Cowboys’ victory. His first sack came on a 3rd-and-8 to force a punt. His second sack came on OU's final offensive play of the game. On a 4th-and-10 from OSU's 24-yard line and 10 seconds remaining on the clock, Oliver beat the block and fell to the ground behind Williams. He then crawled the final stretch to grab Williams' feet and bring him to the ground to seal the win. Oliver has 9.5 sacks this season - the most of all freshmen in autonomy conferences.
