After trailing by as many as 12 points, a Brendan Wenzel 3-pointer with 5.0 seconds remaining gave TCU a 74-71 win at No. 25 Baylor Sunday at Foster Pavilion.

The Horned Frogs (10-7, 3-3) led 71-65 with 35 seconds to play. On the next possession, Baylor's V.J. Edgecombe was fouled on a 3-point attempt. He made all three free throws to cut the TCU lead in half, 71-68, with 28 seconds remaining. Jeremy Roach stole the inbounds pass which led to a game-tying three by Jayden Nunn with 17 seconds to play.

After the Wenzel three off a pass from Noah Reynolds, Nunn's attempt to tie the game was blocked by Ernest Udeh Jr., who tied a career high with four blocked shots. It was part of a huge day for the junior who finished with a career-high 16 points and a season-high 15 rebounds.

TCU trailed by nine, 56-47, with 11:58 to play. From then, the Frogs went on a 20-5 scoring run to take a 67-61 lead on a Wenzel three with 3:21 remaining.

Wenzel finished 4-of-8 from three and scored a season-high 17 points. As a team, TCU shot 50.9 percent from the field and held Baylor (11-6, 3-3) to 39.7 percent. For the first time in Big 12 play, the Frogs held a rebounding advantage, 41-25.

TCU will return to action on Wednesday when it hosts No. 9 Kansas at 6 p.m. on ESPN2.

-       Baylor was held to 39.7 percent shooting. TCU improved to 8-1 this season and 141-30 under Dixon when outshooting its opponent.
-       TCU trailed by as many as 12 points with 5:26 remaining in the first. It was the largest deficit in a win for the Frogs this season. It was the fifth time this season that TCU trailed by as many as six or more and won.
-       TCU had 17 turnovers to Baylor's five.
-       TCU led for 6 minutes and 30 seconds.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
-       Ernest Udeh Jr. had a career-high 16 points and a season-high 15 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season.
-       Udeh's four blocked shots tied a career high.
-       Udeh was 6-of-8 from the free throw line, a season high for makes and attempts.  
-       Brendan Wenzel scored a season-high 17 points. C.
-       Wenzel was 4-of-8 from 3-point range. The final make was the game-winner with 5.0 seconds remaining to break a 71-71 tie.
-       Vasean Allette scored in double-figures for the seventh-straight game with 13.
-       Noah Reynolds scored 13 points. It was his seventh-straight game scoring in double figures.
-       Jace Posey scored eight points off the bench. It was his most points in a game since the season-opener when he had 11.
-       Trazarien White was 1-of-2 from 3-point range for his only bucket of the game. It was his 11th-straight game with a made 3-pointer.
