The Buckeyes shot 55.4 percent for the game and 45.5 percent from long range. On the other end, they forced YSU into a number of tough shots and the Penguins shot just 23.7 percent for the game.
Mobley Jr. continued his hot start as he made his first three three-pointers and finished 3-of-4 overall and had three assists. Bradshaw’s 16 points were one-off his career-high and he also pulled-down a game-high eight rebounds to go along with a pair of blocks.
An early 12-0 run led to a quick 10-point lead for the Buckeyes. Back-to-back threes from Mobley Jr. and Thornton gave the Buckeyes a 13-point edge and they would lead 37-22 at the break.
Another 12-2 run midway through the second half pushed the lead over 30 points and the night was capped by freshman Brayen Nash knocking down a three-pointer in the final minute, much to the delight of his teammates.
