Baylor men's basketball added a depth piece this week in 6-foot-5 NABC All-American Davidson Hubbard.

A native of Charlotte, N.C., Hubbard started 82 of 92 games for Hampden-Sydney College in Hampden-Sydney, Virginia. This past season, he helped the Tigers to a 31-3 record and a berth in the Division III National title game. In total, Hubbard helped his team win 71 games in four years.

"Davidson is a winner," Baylor head coach Scott Drew said. "He did a great job for coach Kimbrough at Hampden-Sydney and helped them win a lot of games, so we are excited to add him to our roster for the upcoming season."

A second-team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches and a third-team All-American by D3Hoops.com, he averaged a career-best 14.9 points across 34 games last season. The First-Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference performer shot .469% from the field, .318% from three-point range and .818% from the free-throw line while nabbing 31 steals and 14 blocks.

In 2022-23, he was named an NABC Division III Second-Team All-District player and was a First-Team All-ODAC selection. That season, he notched career highs in field goal percentage (.529), three-point percentage (.441), rebounds per game (9.0) and assists (38).

In 92 career games, Hubbard posted 1,188 career points, which ranks 26th in H-SC history. His 58 career blocks are the eighth-most all-time.
